Meet Senior Account Manager, Kelley Stauffer!
Tell us about a typical day in the life of Kelley Stauffer
My day starts at 5:00am when I wake up to either go for a run, or practice yoga. Following my workout I get ready for my day, and meet my husband downstairs for breakfast and coffee. Once we have had a quiet moment to chat, I wake up our two boys and help wrangle them into showers and get them ready for school.
From there I am out the door to the office around 7:30. On my way in I usually call my father to touch base on what we both have going on that day.
Once in the office, I immediately get my coffee and start to write out my priority list for the day. Once that is complete, I check-in with my team to ensure that everything is covered. Following our morning meetings, I start working my way down the priority list and client calls/meetings.
I usually try to end my day around 5:30, checking with the team for what will be on the list tomorrow. At that point, I head home to cook dinner and enjoy some downtime with my husband and boys.
What do you do in your role at Elevation?
At Elevation, my role is to be the voice of the client within the agency, and the voice of the agency with the client. It is my responsibility to orchestrate the overall marketing strategy for the client, and ensure that the corresponding deliverables are met on time and within budget.
It is also my job to clearly communicate the directives and needs of the client back to the agency team.
What do you like best about your job and career path?
I knew I wanted to be in marketing since I was about 8 years old. I never imagined doing anything different. I love the way marketing is the combination of psychology and business. I live for the strategy and research behind it all.
What do you consider a fulfilling workday?
A fulfilling workday has two elements to it. One, when I complete a major project together with my team. Second, when we hear the words of appreciation and satisfaction from the client.
What marketing trend is the most interesting to you right now?
Currently, I am fascinated by how intent data is being used to understand our targets on a deeper level and reach them throughout the buying process. Not just using search data on Google, but intent data to better understand how the target acts within each phase of the buyer journey.
What is something that most people don’t know about you?
Due to the fact that I am only 5 feet, people would not usually guess that I was a scholarship athlete in college on the Washington State University women’s rowing team (Go Cougs!). Yes, I was a coxswain. Yes, I can yell.
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
If I won the lottery, I would buy something big from Tiffany’s – I adore Tiffany’s.
